The North West Centre for Professional Workforce Development is holding a one-day event on the role of the Allied Health Professions (AHPs) in transforming health and care in Greater Manchester.
Plans for integrated health and social care in the region are moving at speed, and AHPs have an important role to play.
But what do services need to offer? What is the art of the possible in terms of re-imaging roles and services to improve health and outcomes for the people of Greater Manchester?
How can we use the new national AHP strategy 'AHPs into Action' (publishing January 2017) to guide and help us?
The session will include keynote presentations, examples from local services, and interactive workshops.
Confirmed speakers include Suzanne Rastrick (Chief Allied Health Professions Officer, NHS England - pictured above), Linda Hindle (Lead Allied Health Professional and National Engagement Lead for Police and Fire Services Public Health England) and Naomi McVey (North West AHP Workforce Lead, Health Education England).
The event takes place on Wednesday, 15th February, 2017. For further information please click here.
